Dr. Bao or Dr. BK (as her patients and friends lovingly called her) and her team deliver quality services by using the latest in advanced treatment, like Temporary Anchorage Device (TAD / Mini-implant), Invisalign / clear aligners, clear braces, and traditional braces to achieve the best results possible for our patients. We take care of patients from various age groups and backgrounds, with utmost care, compassion, respect, dedication, and approachability. Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Bao Khanh Nguyen grew up in San Jose. She received her Bachelor degree in Biochemistry at San Jose State University. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004 and Master of Science in Orthodontics in 2006 from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry. In dental school, she tutored Dental anatomy carvings and Fixed Prosthodontics. During her post-graduate training, she did research in Cleft Lip and Palate causal relationships and malformations. She had the pleasure of participating with the esteemed Rotaplast International Group on medical missions, traveling to various under-served countries and performing free medical and dental care.
She’s a current member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO), American Dental Association (ADA), and California Dental association (CDA). She's honored to be an active Board member on the Board of Directors with the Santa Clara County Dental Society (SCCDS), the Santa Clara Dental Foundation (SCCDF) and the Northern California Association of Vietnamese-American Dentists (NCAVAD). She's humble to have served as President of the SCCDS and of the NCAVAD.
Community Involvement

Dr. Bao enjoys giving back to the community. She volunteers at local schools and health fairs to teach dental hygiene, and provides dental screenings at various community events.
